Karate champ takes her skills home to tackle dumb intruder

Wilberto Zapata of Fresno, Calif., received a harsh lesson in geography when he accidentally broke into the wrong apartment and ventured into his neighbor’s bathroom. The intoxicated 18-year-old told authorities he thought he had broken into his own apartment on Sunday when he was getting ready for bed. That proved to be a big mistake, as the bathroom he was using belonged to karate student Jannine Ramirez, 20, who was returning home after winning a competition in Fresno that day. After hearing the intruder, Ramirez kicked down the bathroom door and unleashed an onslaught of kicks and punches on Zapata until he was outside.
