Admit it: You've always wanted to pilot a giant fighting robot. Now, for a mere $1.3 million, you can. Kuratas, a 13-foot hydraulic robot that can be ridden or remote-controlled via smartphone, was unveiled last weekend in Tokyo (where else?). This diesel-powered monstrosity, courtesy of Suidobashi Heavy Industry, comes with awesome, futuristic weapons like a missile launcher that fires water bottles (yet "will not hurt anyone," the company insists) and a twin Gatling gun that locks on your target, spraying 6,000 BB pellets a minute when you smile. The only drawback is that it can only go six miles an hour, so it's probably not a good solution for your morning commute. [Source]
