Jared Stevens is a 13-year-old who "likes to do stuff like everybody else,” according to his dad. His cerebral palsy can make that a challenge, and that's why it's so uplifting to see what happened when two coaches collaborated to get the Tennessee middle schooler into a wrestling match and found an opponent who would embrace the idea of just letting Jared be a part of things. That Justin Kievit wound up getting "pinned" is hardly the point. "[Another coach] asked the other team which player has the biggest heart, and they picked this kid out of the line," says Phil Stevens, Jared's dad. "[Justin] just did an amazing job." [Source]
