LSU receiver's 'hands of Velcro' play might be the catch of the year

11/24/2012

As Hollywood exhausts its supply of comic book superheroes, it's about time for a "Plastic Man" movie, and they might want to get Jarvis Landry to star in it. The LSU receiver made what might be the catch of the season against Arkansas, twisting backwards to snare an off-target pass from Zach Mettenberger with just one hand and cradling it for a touchdown. Landry insisted his quarterback put the ball the only place he could, and his coach and teammates insisted they've seen this before. "Every day in practice," said coach Les Miles, "and I'm serious." Give us two tickets to the next practice, then. [Source]
