Jail for man who cuffed Taco Bell co-worker to ask for date
1/10/2013When it comes to dating, there's persistence, and there are acts that lead to prison. You might think you’re Lloyd Dobler (who memorably professed his love by holding up a boom box in "Say Anything"), but the object of your affection might see you as Dom Woganowski (the creepy stalker from "There's Something About Mary"). Apples, oranges. Romantic gesture, false imprisonment. Jason Earl Dean falls into the criminal category of courtship. The former Georgia Taco Bell employee was sentenced to four years in prison (and six more on probation) for a 2011 incident in which Dean, the gentleman that he is, waited for an 18-year-old co-worker -- who had rejected Dean’s advances -- to get off her shift, then handcuffed himself to the young lady for the purpose of asking her on a date.
