Giambi might be over 40, but that's no reason to quit playing baseball
2/10/2013He’s still doing it! Baseball’s ancient Jason Giambi has signed a deal with the Cleveland Indians. This means we might see The Giambino appear in Tribe colors next season, even though he’s reached an age where most of his contemporaries have long since retired. The 42-year-old slugger signed a minor league deal with the club, so if he performs well in spring training, he has a shot at making the Indians’ season-opening roster. Giambi, who has admitted using performance-enhancing drugs in the past, might even become the first ballplayer who requires a Rascal scooter to round the bases. [Source]
