You'll flip for this amazing catch that robs a hitter of a grand slam9/5/2012
Here's how hapless and dysfunctional the Red Sox are: Their season highlight is from a minor-league journeyman. But that doesn't make it any less spectacular. Pawtucket outfielder Jason Repko nearly ran out of room to snag this shot off the bat of Kosuke Fukodome of the Wilkes-Barre Yankees. But even after slamming into the fence and somersaulting into the bullpen, he was still able hang on to the ball – and even land on his feet. That turned a would-be grand slam home run into a sacrifice fly, though under baseball's rules all the runners moved up a base. Still, the Triple-A Sox lost 6-2. It's been that kind of year.
