Morgue worker accused of showing Newtown gunman's body to hubby
1/4/2013Jean Henry, a worker in the Connecticut state medical examiner's office, has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly showing Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza's body to her husband. Two days after the shooting, Henry reportedly led her husband — who doesn’t work in the morgue — into the room where Lanza's body was being held before an autopsy; she then allegedly unzipped the body bag and showed him off. Chief Medical Examiner H. Wayne Carver II disciplined Henry, and Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy has weighed in. "I would be deeply disappointed if [the allegation were] proven to be true," he said.
