'Blossom' star writes emotional tribute to Newtown, her hometown

Jenna von Oÿ might forever be known as Blossom's boy-obsessed sidekick Six, but she broke character to pen a heartfelt tribute to her hometown: Newton, Conn. "I am blessed to have grown up there," she wrote. "My family still lives in Newtown and, in my heart of hearts, I still consider myself one of its residents." The now 35-year-old mom said that she is "fiercely proud" to have been born there, to have graduated from Newtown High School and to have gotten married and christened her daughter just off Main Street.
