Not long after being accused of a wardrobe malfunction in a Dior dress at the SAG Awards, the Dior-clad actress tripped on her way to collect her first-ever Oscar — thanks, it seemed, to a combination of nerves and a difficult-to-maneuver-in dress. Hugh Jackman rushed to her side, but Lawrence made her way to the stage under her own power to collect her Best Actress prize — where she charmed everybody still awake with some brief comments — "You guys are just applauding for me because I fell!" — topped off with a nervous, happy, "Thanks!"
