Jennifer Lawrence's mom nearly screws up her Oscar ballot as a joke

And the winner of the "What the hell were you thinking, Mom?!" Oscar goes to … Jennifer Lawrence. The actress revealed on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she feared she would be kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences because of her mother's lousy sense of humor. Lawrence was recently accepted into the Academy, but when the ballot arrived for voting for the 2013 Academy Awards, she was out of the country. So her mom filled in the ballot herself, with her own choices of favorite films, much to the actress' horror. But, lucky for Lawrence, her mom (who described the attempted ballot fraud as "hilarious") also screwed up mailing the ballot back and she was able to fill the form out again with her own votes.
