Jeremy Lin Skypes with five-year-old fan, remains awesome
8/8/2012Many New York Knicks fans still mourn the loss of Jeremy Lin to the Houston Rockets during free agency. One young fan, a five-year-old named Naim, broke into tears at the news, the moment captured on video and uploaded onto YouTube. Lin himself was apparently one of the clip’s more than 30,000 viewers, so he arranged a Skype conversation with his young fan. In this adorable clip, a gracious and classy Lin refuses to troll his former team, telling Naim “You need to still root for (the Knicks) because they're going to be a great team with or without me.” Linsanity: It will live forever in our hearts.
