Salvation Army will clean up on Cowboys' sale of 'Jerry Wipes'

9/14/2012

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones might have a sense of entitlement, but he has a sense of humor, too. After being caught on video having a functionary (who turned out to be his son-in-law, Shy Anderson) cleaning his glasses for him during the season opener against the Giants, Jones ran with the gag and the Cowboys were soon marketing "Jerry Wipes" through their online store. Even better, the initial batch sold out within 24 hours, with the proceeds going to the Salvation Army, for whom Jones' daughter, Charlotte Jones Anderson, is the national chairwoman. Keep your glasses on though: As soon as the store can see clear to restock, more will be available. [Source]
