Jet engine blows foolish beachgoer into a wall
4/8/2012This beachgoer in St. Maarten was literally blown into a wall when her fingers proved a little too loose for the power of a jet engine. As you can see, the resort island is a little cramped for space, and isn't going to let a little thing like an airport soak up valuable beachfront. Most of the locals seem to know the rules: When a plane fires up the engines, you get into the water or hold on to the fence for the thrill of your life. However, if you don't have a strong grip this happens, whether you remember it or not.
Thrill ride or stupid idea?
