Jewelry designer wants women to have hairy chests
6/4/2012The envelope-pushing eccentricity and potential-for-squeamishness quotient of fashion has just expanded a little further. Kerry Howley, a recent grad of Middlesex University with a degree in jewelry and accessories, has designed a line of necklaces using material sourced from the bathroom floor: human hair. While we applaud the underlying sustainable/reusable aspect of this fashion experiment, the skeeve-out factor may keep this accessory from attaining widespread popularity. While the necklaces are pretty, appreciation of them might be overshadowed by the wearer's constant paranoid vigilance against static electricity and lint rollers.
