Jodie Foster rants against us all for gaping at K. Stew-R. Pat breakup

Kristen Stewart is reportedly upset she's been branded with a scarlet "A" for her "indiscretion" with Rupert Sanders, while the married director who's 19 years her senior and has two kids is getting off virtually scot-free in the media. Stewart has company in her indignation: Jodie Foster, who played K. Stew's mom in "Panic Room," has penned a somewhat-rambling essay defending Stewart, blasting the way we "lift up beautiful young people like gods and then pull them down to earth to gaze at their seams" yet "seldom consider the childhoods we unknowingly destroy in the process."
