Detroit welcomes Biden by stealing his U-Haul

Don't go to Detroit and expect your car won't get stolen, even if you're the vice president. That was the message the Motor City delivered to the Obama-Biden campaign Saturday night when someone jacked a U-Haul the Secret Service had rented for a visit from Joe Biden. The vehicle was full of metal detectors and other Secret Service equipment, and was recovered by police yesterday afternoon. Apparently, it wasn't the first time a prominent figure has had a car swiped in Detroit. The Rev. Jesse Jackson's Cadillac Escalade was stolen two years ago and Detroit's own mayor has his Yukon Denali taken the same year. [Source]
