The hard-working folks in Florida’s Obama campaign field office were treated to coffee, donuts and the unforgettable sight of Joe Biden in black aviator sunglasses Sunday. As energizing as sugar and caffeine is in and of itself, nothing would snap us to attention quite like witnessing the Vice President of these United States stride into a room with enough moxie to pull off opaque sunglasses indoors, like Maverick looking for Goose. The brass button blazer and chinos are also looking fresh (maybe he actually went more “Royal Tenenbaums” than “Top Gun” on this coffee run?) There’s no debate about it, this is a winning look.
