Joe Eszterhas tells Mel Gibson 'you hate Jews' in letter
4/12/2012It's hard to imagine that anything Mel Gibson is accused of could surprise us anymore, but now that Warner Bros. has shelved Gibson's "The Maccabees," its screenwriter, Joe Eszterhas, has written a shocking letter accusing the "Braveheart" star of, among other things, hating Jews and referring to them as "Hebes," "oven-dodgers" and "Jewboys"; saying John Lennon "deserved to be shot"; continuing to threaten to kill his ex-wife, Oksana Grigorieva; and offering a violent, pornographic description of the imagined killing to Eszterhas' 15-year-old son. Gibson says Eszterhas' letter is filled with "utter fabrications" and that his script was "substandard." If only the script had been half as dramatic and compelling as that letter.
Are you shocked by Eszterhas' allegations?
