Kennedys back on track for world domination: Joe III now in Congress
11/7/2012Joseph Kennedy III was elected as a Massachusetts congressman last night, sending us whizzing down memory lane. Joe, 32, is the first Kennedy of his generation to take public office, marking the return of the Kennedy clan. Actually, it's only been 22 months without a Kennedy in Washington (Patrick Kennedy retired in 2011), but it's just not the same without one. Joe — Bobby Kennedy’s grandson, JFK's great-nephew and the son of former Rep. Joseph Kennedy II — will take the seat vacated by retiring Dem Barney Frank. Critics say he's just riding his family's coattails, but with a Harvard Law pedigree and a Peace Corps history, we're hoping he's more than able. [Source]
