So, the Paterno family's paid investigator determined that the independent Freeh report was "biased". Ooooookay.

Thanks much Paterno family for pushing focus back on your fallen hero as opposed to on the rape victims whom he didn't do enough for.

Paterno family says JoePa didn't cover up anything, Twitter laughs

2/11/2013

Joe Paterno's family has released a scathing report defending the late Penn State football coach, but not everyone is buying it. As family members on Sunday blasted the Freeh Report, which argued Paterno helped cover up child sex abuse by assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, most folks online expressed either sarcasm or anger at the Paterno family's attempt to clear JoePa's name. The independent investigation, paid for by Paterno family members, called former FBI director Louis Freeh's findings "deeply flawed" and "unfair." For his part, Freeh said in a statement that he respected the family's right to order their own inquiry, but "the self-serving report the Paterno family has issued today does not change the facts established in the Freeh report or alter the conclusions reached in the Freeh report."
