Jogger attacked by a gang of raccoons

Raccoons look soft and cuddly, and Michaela Lee believed the ones in her neighborhood were harmless -- until they attacked her outside her home. Lee had just finished her run in Lakewood, Wash., when her dog Madison got loose and chased two raccoons up a tree. As Lee tried to get hold of Madison's leash, she was chased and knocked down by other raccoons. She was rescued by a combination of her dog's barking, which scared off the attackers, and neighbors who heard her screams. Lee suffered a number of scratches, 16 puncture wounds and an expensive emergency room bill.
