Idaho bill would make all kids there read 'Atlas Shrugged'
2/8/2013Idaho is so red that it makes other red states blush. It's so red, it's crimson. So red it's scarlet. You get it. It’s the kind of place where the chairman of the Senate’s Education Committee introduced a bill that would require all high-school students to read Ayn Rand's right-wing manifesto “Atlas Shrugged” and pass a test on it in order to graduate. John Goedde said he was totes not serious about actually passing the measure. Asked why he chose the book, Goedde replied, “That book made my son a Republican.” [Source]
