Brazil has lots of John Lennons, and they're all getting arrested

John Lennon's namesakes aren't giving peace a chance in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte. The popularity of the Beatles in Brazil and the untimely death of John Lennon in 1980 resulted in many Brazilian mothers naming their children after the legendary musician and pacifist. Those children are now adults and are being arrested for decidedly nonpacifist activities. Recent arrests have included those of John Lennon Ribeiro Siqueira (attempted robbery of a lottery shop), John Lennon Fonseca Ferreira (attempted home invasion) and John Lenon Camargos Gomes (drug trafficker accused of five murders). John Lennon Sebastiao da Silva was also probably up to no good — he was found dead in a car from what cops are calling a likely revenge killing. [Source]
