Dentist Michael Zuk is in possession of one of John Lennon's teeth. The tooth is quite famous: Zuk, who purchased it at an auction in 2011 for more than $30,000, takes it on tours around the world. His new plan is to extract Lennon's DNA from the tooth and sequence it to clone the deceased Beatle with the help of American scientists. "If scientists think they can clone mammoths, then John Lennon could be next," Zuk told the Examiner, and ... well, that's a pretty big leap, but OK, buddy. "To potentially say I had a small part in bringing back one of rock’s greatest stars would be mind-blowing," he added.
There has to be an appropriate Beatles song pun here: "Hey, Tooth"? "Toothy in the Sky With Diamonds"? "Happiness Is a Warm Gum"? Whatever. If we can get John Lennon back, we're ready to give teeth a chance if you are. [Source]
