John Mayer admits he was 'just a jerk' for a while

John Mayer has done some soul-searching, and he's discovered why he behaved like such a tool a few years ago. “I was just a jerk”, he said in a recent interview, inspiring a collective “well, duh” reaction from every celebrity-watcher in the nation. The comments come from an interview with CBS’s “Sunday Morning” show, to be aired this weekend. Mayer set records for indiscretion back in 2010, giving interviews to Rolling Stone and Playboy Magazine revealing that his “David Duke” penis had racist impulses, that his ex Jennifer Aniston is stuck in 1998 and that another ex Jessica Simpson was “sexual napalm” who had “the power to change [his] values”.
