Rocker says Jews owning guns would have stopped Holocaust

You know what would have stopped the Holocaust? If German Jews had had the Second Amendment to protect them. This is the view of former major-league closer John Rocker: that if Jews could have owned guns there would have been no genocide, he wrote in his most recent column for the conservative site World Net Daily. After comparing Obama to the likes of Hitler and Stalin, he wrote that it was an “undeniable fact that the Holocaust would have never taken place” if Germany’s Jewish population  “had the right to bear arms.” He concluded with the notorious “lunches with wolves” quote, that like many, he falsely attributed to Benjamin Franklin: “Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.” [Source]
