Man busted for allegedly stealing golf cart, trying to drive 74 miles

Even if things got out of hand, your night was probably better than the guy who, police claim, stole a golf cart and tried to drive it home while drunk. Police in Angels Camp, Calif., say 46-year-old John Vishion admitted that he stole a golf cart, loaded it up with five bottles of champagne and tried to drive it home to Citrus Heights, Calif. – 74 miles away. Vishion got lost on his way home and was eventually apprehended by the California Highway Patrol, but not before he managed to go 13 miles in the golf cart. [Source]
