Johnny Depp charms Navajo leaders on 'Lone Ranger' set
4/15/2012Can we just agree that Johnny Depp is the most awesome celebrity ever? In the past we've heard about him popping up at a kid's classroom dressed as Jack Sparrow and risking his life to save extras during the filming of "Public Enemy." Now the president, vice president and surgeon general of the Navajo Nation, the 27,000-square-mile territory currently hosting the filming of "The Lone Ranger," have visited Depp, who plays Tonto, and are confirming he's just as awesome in person. "He is a very charming man, very gracious and very concerned as well. He probably spent a good hour with us. Everybody else left the set, but he was still there," said Surgeon General Gayle Dine' Chacon, who spoke with Depp about preventing youth suicide.
