Heartbreakingly cute couple announce breakup in touching song
12/6/2012Breaking up is never easy, but Jonathan Mann and his girlfriend, Ivory, decided the best way to end their union and announce it to their friends was to write an extremely catchy song explaining the reasons why. The two were together for five years, and according to their lyrics, the split was the result of Jonathan wanting kids but Ivory not. The heartbreaking line of "We've got to break up/It's the only way/'cause I will resent her/and that's not fair" is beautifully offset by an earworm melody and some cute dance moves — all of which make us incredibly sad to see that these two just aren't meant to be.
