Joss Whedon does Shakespeare and it looks awesome

3/8/2013

The only logical thing to do after wrapping up filming on the 2012 blockbuster "The Avengers" is to hole up in your Santa Monica home for 12 days with a slew of your more talented friends and film a modern adaptation of Shakespeare's classic play, "Much Ado About Nothing," right? It is if you're writer and director Joss Whedon. The film, which premiered at last year's Toronto International Film Festival, has already received rave reviews and, judging by the newly released trailer, we're thinking the critics are on to something. Whedon's adaptation won't be released in theaters until June 7, so until then, we cordially invite you (OK, "thee")  to join us in watching the trailer on repeat. [Guyism]
