Judge slams repeat offender, calls him a 'clown' and an 'idiot'

Not mincing his words, a judge in Queensland, Australia, called a repeat offender a "clown" and a "grub" while handing down his sentence. Judge Brian Harrison sentenced Tewa Tawhi Tamou, 31, to three months' jail but released him on parole immediately because he said there was nothing to be gained by spending taxpayers' money locking up Tamou, who has previously been convicted of stealing and assault. The judge said if he could bet on the 31-year-old reoffending, "I would make a fortune," predicting, "Out will come the fist, about three seconds before the brain."
