'DWTS' star Julianne Hough reveals childhood abuse
1/3/2013It might seem that Julianne Hough — professional dancer on "Dancing With the Stars" at age 18, country music singer at 19 and movie star at 22 — has led a perfectly charmed life. (We can't decide if dating Ryan Seacrest is a plus or a minus.) But that success came at a cost. Separated from her family to study dance in London as a kid, she says, adults around her took advantage. "I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer," she tells Cosmopolitan. She was abused "mentally, physically, everything," she says, declining to get more specific.
