Disrespectful kangaroos bring Australian Open to a standstill
2/15/2013The golfers at the Women's Australian Open this week have certainly proved popular with the local wildlife. Australian golfer Karrie Webb was forced to wait for a mob of kangaroos to clear the course at the Royal Canberra Golf Club before she could play on. The collective noun for these bouncy marsupials is a mob because apparently, like the Mob, kangaroos obviously do whatever the hell they want. The 'roo delay follows an incident earlier this week that saw Swedish golfer Daniela Holmqivst impressively use a tee to extract venom from her leg after being bitten by a redback spider. Crikey!
