No reward likely for couple who say they were held by Chris Dorner
2/14/2013Here's Karen and Jim Reynolds' terrifying tale of being gagged and bound by alleged cop-killer Christopher Dorner, whom they encountered inside their mountain condo on Tuesday. "I don't have a problem with you, I just want to clear my name," they say he told them calmly. "You really could tell that he was professionally trained," says Karen, describing the way he tied them up as "very methodical." The couple say Dorner eventually took off in their Nissan, and Karen managed to dial 911. So will the Reynolds net one of those hefty monetary rewards? Unlikely. A sneaky loophole in the three bounties totaling $1.2 million required Dorner to be captured and convicted — cornered and killed might not cut it. [Source]
