Lance Armstrong's saddest legacy? 10,000 unsellable DVDs
1/21/2013England’s Karl Baxter owns a wholesale clearance DVD business and he's stuck with 10,000 copies of a 2006 movie about Armstrong that praises him as a great athlete and champion. Baxter bought "The Science of Lance Armstrong" in bulk, before the cyclist was exposed as a drug cheat, and hoped to reap a profit selling the discs online. But now it looks like they’re destined for the recycling bin. "We are trying to think of a creative use for them. They will make good tea coasters, wind chimes or bird scarers," Baxter says optimistically. [Source]
