Karl Lagerfeld's pampered kitten has her own iPad

Chanel's Karl Lagerfeld is well known in the fashion industry for his eccentricities: He's the bewigged, Hamburg-born designer who says he drinks nothing but Diet Coke and is the only couture designer to have penned a best-selling diet book. Today comes news of Lagerfeld's cat, who, perhaps unsurprisingly, is another beneficiary of the designer's largesse. His pet Siamese, Choupette, has two full-time maids (one for day, one for evening) and her own iPad, which Lagerfeld says she is able to manipulate with her paws. Choupette also keeps a diary (via her maids) -- at 600 pages and counting, the diary could one day, Lagerfeld says, be made into its own book.
