Listen as DJs do bad queen impersonation, get Kate info from hospital

12/5/2012

Well, this is a bit embarrassing if you’re being asked to look after the mother of a future British monarch. Two Australian radio presenters managed to extract information from hospital staff on the condition of Kate Middleton by making a prank call that impersonated (very badly) the queen, Prince Charles and even the queen’s pet corgis. DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian called the King Edward VII Hospital in London Tuesday night and were put through to the ward where Middleton is staying. An unsuspecting nurse then revealed details about the Duchess of Cambridge’s health and said that Prince William had left her bedside for the evening. "It's the easiest prank call we've ever made" the DJs said later. [Source]
