Katie Couric scores coveted first TV interview with Manti Te'o

Katie Couric has landed the first TV interview of reality-challenged Notre Dame football star Manti Te'o. Couric beat out Oprah Winfrey and scores of other interviewers pounding down T'eo’s door to quiz him about his faux girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, and his faux girlfriend’s subsequent faux death from faux leukemia. The bizarre situation has been all over the news lately as people wonder exactly who was pretending to be Lennay Kekua online. Questions also persist about how involved Te'o was in the hoax. He says he did not know his girlfriend didn’t exist because they interacted online and on the phone, but never met in person. Huh.
