Kayaker catches massive shark, scares the bejesus out of NJ beachgoers

8/17/2012

Were you going to the beach this weekend or getting near any body of water larger than a bathroom sink? Before you answer that question, look at this picture. BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT LIVES IN THE WATER. A kayaker named "Shark Tony" caught this 6-foot-long thresher shark about 200 yards from an Ocean City, N.J., beach. He then brought it onto the shore, because what fun is the beach if you can't scare the pee out of beachgoers? After snapping a few pics, Tony released the shark back into the water. Even though thresher sharks don't typically attack humans, we think we'll stay on dry land for a while. [Source]
