College student accused of spiking 'mean' roommate's drink with bleach

Kayla Bonkowski, a student at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, decided to express her displeasure with her roommate, Emily Joseph, by allegedly topping up Joseph's iced tea with a splash of bleach. Bonkowski, 19, reportedly admitted to police she poisoned her 20-year-old roommate, who had medical treatment but has since been released. Michigan State Police revealed Bonkowski told a state trooper that she sprayed Joseph's drink with bleach because her roommate is "mean."
