Great mom shares 'newborn' photos of her 13-year-old adopted son
2/14/2013What do you do when you don't have any baby photos of your adopted son? Make your own, of course. Professional photographer Kelli Higgins of Crestview, Fla., adopted 13-year-old Latrell two years ago and he remarked recently that he wished he had baby photos of himself. In an excellent case of better late than never, Higgins did a "newborn" photo shoot with Latrell, complete with the obligatory soft lighting and "baby" feet close-up. Higgins posted the photos on Facebook – now shared more than 4,000 times -- with the caption, "Here's my sweet not so little Newborn! His name is Latrell and weighs 112lbs ;)" [Source]
