Man tracks, then brawls with, the stranger who had his missing iPhone
1/9/2013Kenneth Schmidgall and his friend Greg Torkelson used the "Find my iPhone" app to try to track down Schmidgall's missing phone. During their slow drive through San Diego, they spotted a man on a bike whose movements matched the green dot on the app's screen. Schmidgall confronted the man while Torkelson filmed, and the two got into a fight that would've gotten a nod of approval from Tyler Durden of "Fight Club" himself. Torkelson pepper-sprayed the man before an off-duty police officer stepped in and held him until the cops arrived. "I don't think people should [get] in fights because of their cellphones, but … you have to stand up for yourself," Schmidgall said. [Source]
