Teacher allegedly forces 5-year-old to eat bagel from trash can

We get that dealing with kindergarteners isn't the easiest job in the world ... But making a kid eat a bagel out of the trash can is probably not the smartest disciplinary action, either. That's exactly what a teacher at Deerfield Township Elementary School in New Jersey allegedly did last week, when she reportedly forced five-year-old Ke'Nya Febry to eat a bagel the girl had thrown in the trash, in front of her classmates. According to Kandice Taylor, the child's mother, Ke’Nya was "humiliated" by the incident and has been having nightmares. Taylor has kept her daughter home from school since the incident. [Source]
