Sensitive football announcer apologizes for ref's on-air cussing

Oh, Kevin Harlan, when did America's football fans become so offended by a little cursing? The CBS football announcer felt compelled to apologize to viewers Sunday after a ref's microphone was left on during the Miami Dolphins-Indianapolis Colts game and picked up some mild "bad" language. Referee Tony Corrente was in discussion with fellow officials when spectators in the stadium heard one of the officials yell, ''What in the f*ck are you guys doing?" That comment didn't end up airing, but Corrente shouting, "That was, Goddammit!" certainly did. Cue panic in the CBS announcers' box and an apology from the easily offended Harlan. We're sure the ears of average football fans were able to cope.
