Kevin Garnett consoles his grieving former mentor Kevin McHale

Kevin McHale, the head coach of the NBA's Houston Rockets, has only been back at work for four games since the death of his daughter. Sasha McHale, who was 23, died Nov. 24 from complications related to lupus. On Friday night, the Rockets played the Boston Celtics, where Kevin Garnett ended up after 12 roller-coaster seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In Minnesota, Garnett worked with then-General Manager McHale, who had drafted and developed him right out of high school. After Friday’s game, Garnett shared an emotional hug with his former mentor, and the encounter between the two will bring tears to your eyes.
