College freshman dies after freak backflip accident while dancing

A Baylor University freshman died Sunday following what has been described as a "bizarre accident while doing a backflip." Kevin Signo, 18, was rehearsing traditional dances with the school's Filipino Student Association when he landed the flip on his forehead and suffered a fatal spinal injury. According to Signo's parents, he had aspired to be a doctor and had already designated himself an organ donor. "He knew that he would be helping others if something tragic had happened," Henry Signo said. "We're very happy to have had him for a short time."
