Kid who beat Bill Gates at pingpong is Olympics-bound
5/3/2012Bill Gates plays a mean game of pingpong, but he wasn't good enough to beat the 11-year-old that fellow billionaire Warren Buffett set him up with a few years back. Now Ariel Hsing is 16 and she's headed to the Olympics. Buffett has been helping to advance the prodigy's training since she was 9, and now she's the second-best table-tennis player in America and one of the few people who gets to call Buffett "Uncle Warren." "She's a killer," Buffett says. "I knew right away she had the potential to be great." Looks like another Buffett investment is paying off.
How hard is pingpong (especially after a beer)?
