Kid with Spurs-inspired buzz cut may be suspended

Matt Bonner is Patrick Gonzalez's favorite NBA player, so the middle schooler decided to honor the Spurs center (and 42 percent three-point shooter) by having the player's picture shaved into the back of his head. Unfortunately for both Patrick and Bonner, the scalp-based artwork has been deemed a "distraction" by school officials. If Bonner doesn't disappear from the back of Patrick's head by tomorrow, the boy will be sentenced to an in-school suspension. Although the school seems to be overreacting, we're more concerned over the fact that Patrick's teachers apparently are unable to hold their students' attention if Bonner's hair-sculpted face is in their classrooms.
