If a child does something wrong, should she or he be held accountable by publicly holding up a sign fessing up? It's a questionable parenting technique that child and adolescent psychologists have described as being unnecessary and possibly having negative impacts.That, however, hasn't stopped parents, including those of the 11 kids in this gallery, from sign-shaming their kids. When the father of the sign-holder in number four was questioned about his choice, he replied, "She can sue me for 'defecation.'"
